This little boy

-melts my heart into putty.

-is SIX.(how did that happen?!)

-made me, from just a silly 19 year old girl, into a mama.

-is testing his boundaries these days.

-is amazingly smart and adaptable.

-was MADE, srsly people, MADE to be a big brother. (God totally knew Mason needed to be the oldest boy- he takes it all in stride)

I am blessed to be your mama. I was SO young when I gave birth to you. You and I have been through much- it was just you and I for such a long time. Now our house and family has grown and you have taken on each new addition with so much patience and love. You have a heart of gold and I adore watching you interact with others- especially your brothers. You are loved by everyone that meets you-you have such a sweet spirit. These past 6 years have been a joy. I love you to the moon and back.

Can I go back to bed?

I slept 3 hours last night. Woke up to a disgusting head cold. Matt is still gone. My kids are needier than ever today.

So to keep my kids happy and quiet(my head will thank me) I  fully plan to placate them with the following movies:

And come sweet, glorious naptime- you will find me watching:

you know, cause I am a complete and total nerd.
That's right and PROUD of IT!

I miss Matt.

I don't even remember how I was ever a single mom. I know I did it AND did it well, but it's amazing how quickly your normal can change. Thankfully, it's only 4 days that he is gone and one is already over.

The weather is BEAUTIFUL today! The baby is napping, Mason is at school and I am off to play in our awesome backyard with this handsome guy:

Uh! Love this little boy more than I knew you could ever love someone.

New Worlds

Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born. - Anais Nin

I love how Theo is smiling up at Jenni!

Some old(and wonderful)friends, Jessi and Jenni stopped by last week( scared the bejesus out of me, I might add!) and made my heart happy.

  There is nothing like good

It sure is good for the soul to spend time with your family. This has been SUCH a lazy, non-productive, weekend, just hanging out and spending time together.  But needed...especially because-

Matt is headed off for a business trip in the am to this lovely place:

He will be gone FOUR days! Sob!

I know it's only four days, but I love my guy, and I am going to miss him soooo much!

I have some fun stuff planned for when he's gone though- playdates, a Moulin Rouge ladies night with  dinner and wine!, and some adventures with my boys.

And just because my baby is bursting with squishycheeksooeygooeydeliciousness, here you go:

                                          Yup. You're welcome.
