I remember teaching Sunday school and a fashionable little boy (with a mom much more fashionable than I) walked in with little Van-like shoes covered in skulls. I was...flabbergasted. I find it disturbing. I don't even really like pirate stuff, it's all covered with the same thing.Staciahttp://www.fiveofspaids.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8160045625334226663.post-27832312846549965432011-11-07T12:41:12.916-08:002011-11-07T12:41:12.916-08:00I do my best to allow my children to express them...I do my best to allow my children to express themselves though fashion in age appropriate ways but negative designs, words, phrases, and images are outside the boundaries. There is nothing positive or cute about the symbols of death. Just my two cents.

(On a side note, my deepest sympathies on the med issues. It's a horrible place to be and I hope they're smoothed out soon. I have a friend with twin 4-year-old girls, and they wear a cute little tee with a 'princess skull' on it. The irony appeals to me. On the other hand, I wouldn't go out of my way to buy these, and I'd be concerned if my kid ONLY wanted to wear skulls.Janhttp://www.1hundred-words.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8160045625334226663.post-72026116490853278562011-11-07T05:27:47.131-08:002011-11-07T05:27:47.131-08:00Well, I am usually on board with these parental vi...Well, I am usually on board with these parental views but for some reason this one does not bother me. Maybe because I grew up seeing a tattoo of skulls and cross bones on my Navy dad. Idk. But I actually like them. However I will say, neither of my boys own a piece of clothing with a skull on them....Heather&Boyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17265457381272461588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8160045625334226663.post-37540419038707868762011-11-06T09:52:46.228-08:002011-11-06T09:52:46.228-08:00I am so glad it's not just me who feels this w...I am so glad it's not just me who feels this way!!!
